Having just participated in my first competitive road race, I feel proud.

The race was 10,000m and I achieved 43 Min. I have trained for this event only 5 times and never with a club or group. Of the 102 competitors in the event, I came in just under 50′th place. I expected worse - the majority of the runners seemed to be practised.

I have been invited to continue with a running club and meet once a week to train. I never imagined I would be doing this.

I just realised,

My ideal house would have to have a library. I have so many books / magazines that I like to keep, I shall need a library.

I noticed a post by Mr Mottram about the “Flock” web browser. I thought I’d install it and give it a shot.

So far it seems lovely, integration of blog posting and del.icio.us ‘favourites’ management.

I’m writing this post from the browser to test it’s blog-posting integration.

I forgot to mention; you can now contact me on Skype, should you ever have the need to talk about pianos or radio communications.. or satellites.. or apple snails.. hmm.. 8)

A Military Headset was aquired from Blochairn market. Quite a nice deal, I have to say.

I’d really like to use it for comms equipment and / or voip chat while playing “Battlefield 2″tm, for a slightly more realistic game.
