My First Run…
Having just participated in my first competitive road race, I feel proud.
The race was 10,000m and I achieved 43 Min. I have trained for this event only 5 times and never with a club or group. Of the 102 competitors in the event, I came in just under 50′th place. I expected worse - the majority of the runners seemed to be practised.
I have been invited to continue with a running club and meet once a week to train. I never imagined I would be doing this.
