Commutivity

This morning I made my first human powered commute to work. I picked up a racer

for £18.00 from a car boot sale in the east end of Glasgow. A real bargain. It’ll take only just over a week’s commuting for the bike to pay for itself in saved bus fares.

Cycling is also way more interesting than sitting on the bus, too. Squirrels and similar running around the banks of an unknown river.

At 12 Miles it was my longest cycle since I started university.
GPS Statistics:

Trip Time: 57:18
Trip: 12.0 Mi
Av. Speed: 12.6 Mi

I’m sure this will improve after a few more runs, but as it stands it’s quicker than the bus, so I’m happy with that.

Where do you get a bike for £18?!!

Oh, you’ve linked to it. Cheers - I really want a cheap bike.

But I’m one of those weird people who cycle for leisure… :S

    Beautiful picture dude
